Watched Transformers today – My vote 2 STAR

Sonja, her mom and I went to watch Transformers today. Sonja’s dad wanted to stay back. So we had lunch at La Costa in the afternoon and then took some pictures around Gillman blvd. Actually, much to our surprise we discovered Gillman Village today. Its a set of closely placed shops and restaurants - almost looks like a small village. So anyway, we strolled around there while Sonja’s mom was snapping pictures. We then went home took a break and then around 4PM drove off to watch the movie. I thought the movie was alright, way below my expectations.

Well, I always thought …no..you knwo what I think I am just going to write down stuffs now…not thinking what, when..but just going to write. I am not sure if I am going to publish this post but at this point I just feel like writing…just letting out my thoughts, maybe I can figure out something…..Well, I love her sooo much…I can’t see her unhappy for a single moment…I can’t imagine that something as trivial as my parents visiting me here is even making us talk for so many hours in areas of discomfort.

Okay, let me trace back things… My parents are scheduled to visit me in September 25th 2006. That’s about a month from now. Now, it was in our minds (me and her) to move in togather from next year sometime in january I think. Now, this past few days…[I am just blank again right now......I don't know why am I writing all this..just not fair] . Okay let me ask this question….What kind of assurance does one need? Well, we always talked about the fact that we will not have fights over certain issues and that when we have one we will talk about it and sort things out, I guess that’s what we are doing now. We are mature, grown up individuals totally in love..I mean true love. We can fix things. So many good things happened lately with us…infact ever since we got togather…I remember Sonja kept on asking me whats the wrong thing in this whole thing…maybe this little bumpy ride is what we were waiting to happen. Not sure…but anyways what hurts me is that I have unconditional, undevided love for her (and so does she have the same for me), I know that…yet when she talks about the fact that two months of spending less tiem with each other will change things in her (I am not sure what things she is talking about, I mean what – you stop loving me enough, what does she mean). I mean I can and will wait for her….because I love her. But these are quite some hurtful statements that she makes – I really don’t get it. But again, when she explains me correctly and when I put myself in her shoes I feel the pain. Which is why I thought it’s right to move in togather right aways. I don’t think I am doing this for any sense of insecurity, but because I love her and I cant see her in pain. I guess she being a girl is able to see it clearly how I would suffer too…I mean staying in the same city and not being able to hug each other at will or kiss each other and so on…but, yet there are many things that she says out loudly or thinks about which I would not..I mean never. I feel deeply saddened when I hear her say those things….I can’t publish this..I know if she reads it, I might have to give a lot of explainiation..but maybe I should just tell her. Infact I do tell her…stuffs like…what kind of a thought is that? or what kind of a scenario are you talking about? or I never said that or will say that..because I really won’t or don’t. I mean I want to find a fix for this that takes care of all this petty talks really. I mean…although that is like..[drawing blank again - need to pause for some time] .

Love is growing stronger…

I need to keep reiterating this every once in a while. Its been a few months now that we are togather and I still feel that every passing day is making my love for her grow even stronger. The little walks, holding hands, hugs, just being together and much more is so amazing. I mean I don’t believe that this is that way because its fresh love, I think its more of a real and everlasting love. Most of the time – she expresses her thoughts and feelings about us so well, I keep listening to her and wondering she just said what I would have wanted to say. Its so surprising that we have such an amazing connection…I love her so much…

This past week has been quite amazing for us. There has been quite a few good news coming our way. Well, things that would strengthen our being together and make things more concrete. First a hint form her manager that he liked her work very much ang that there are good prospects of her getting hired full time at Microsoft. I mean this is big news. Often times when we thought about long terms and then there was a moment when we had to think of what is practical. If we were to be togather for ever then we would have to stay in the same place. Imagine suddenly this news comes and then we suddenly figured that ya, should this materialize then one big problem will get solved. Then there are quite a few more such news/events but the one that I am most happy to write about is that I spoke to her sister on the phone today. Well, she was talking to her family this morning while I was in the room reading something and listening to music. And then she stopped by and handed me the phone and said “my sister want’s to talk to you”. I always thought that one day soon I am going to talk to her family but always thought I would be better prepared for that. so anyways…I suddenly felt this rush of having to portray my best and all of a sudden umm…blank blank..anyways I just said Hi and then we just spoke few sentences and then it was over. But soon after that she called up her sister again and then this time we spoke on the phone longer. I liked talking to her sister very much. I felt almost immediately accepted. Thats a nice feeling. Especially knowing that Sonja is so important for me – I want that all the things that relates to our long term progress be done just right. And, I thought that this call was just perfect and remember it was a landmark in our relationship. Oh and it couldnt happen on a better day I mean its the 8th, and 8 is my lucky number. So anyways….I am looking forward to talk to her sister more and hopefully some day talk to her parents as well. That would be so nice…:). I am also hoping that one day she is able to talk to my parents and family and that there is a similar happiness in her eyes like I have it in me right now!! I want that day to come sooner..I will post more on this as and when things happen.

Historic event…

I was in my second day of training in one of the courses that I am taking at work. Around noon time I got an IM from my lovely girl friend and she just sounded so excited about telling me something. And what followed was truly an historic event in our relationship. Well, it was the first time that she had mentioned in some close context about our relationship to her elder sister. And, the reaction of her sister was so supportive that it was just a very pleasent news for us. I know she was very happy and excited about it. So, was I. I was very happy for us. Infact I could see how releved she felt after having expressed her feelings to her sister. I know that because I felt the same when I had called up my brother last night to wish him Happy Birthday. At times during my talk I felt like mentioning about her to him as well. Anyways, my girl friend and I went out for dinner to celebrate this special day, we went to Applebees (we discovered a special fondness for the Triple Chocolate Meltdown there) and really had a nice time. Right now, however we are both sitting next to each other in my apartment and on our own laptops, I am blogging and she is jotting down her thoughts in her own private notes page. I think we are both a little upset….What happened all of a sudden, you may wonder huh? Well, probably the culprit is me but thats a matter I need to write in another post….I have to just talk to her now…I don’t think I feel too well seeing her in this mood….

The last few months have been very memorable for me…I have been waiting for a long time now for moments like this. I think I finally met someone who I really belive is the one I can spend life time with. I just feel like myself when I am with her. I think thats a boon, you dont need to pretend of being or acting different. And if you are getting along that way then I guess there is no surprises later on because this is what you are.

Someday, when things grow deeper between us – I will write a post totally dedicated to her, probably won't be enough but I would like to tell you all about how special she is…

Bill Gates who along with Paul Allen formed Microsoft Corporation has decided to step down from full time role within the company and assume similar responsibilities in Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Ray Ozzie is going to take over as the company's new Chief Architect Officer. Please follow the following link for more information. Well, I agree its been a long time….but thats what it is, as the title of this blog says – Reason. Maybe I was just waiting for another great Reason that would compell me to jot down something. Or maybe I am just finding a Reason out of it . Well anyways, here goes – The other day I was driving down to Snoqualmie Falls with someone special. Snoqualmie Falls – Picture by Sonja!!

And, while we (me and her) were driving down she said something and I just had a sudden burst of thoughts that I thought I shold blog about. You know what one should seek in a relationship? I think besides other things (I don’t want to warrant just one idea here) a relationship should bring the best out of the other. It should make you feel complete. I think the first step for two individuals to become part of each other for life is to embrace each other in all aspects of their lives… I have started to feel this way, every single day that I spend with her……

Tuesday, 18th April 2006: The Chinese president Hu Jintao begins his 4 day trip to the US. He makes his first stop at Washington state begining with a visit with the Microsoft founder Bill Gates. His high-profile tour comes as anger grows in the US about the size of its trade deficits with China (about $202 billion in 2005). Which means the US has been importing more from China then exporting. In other words there is more capital leaving the country and this could cause higher interest rates.

Facts:

Mr. Jintao visited both Boeing and Microsoft at seattle
Mr. Jintao as re-assured about China's committment against Software Piracy
Dinner with Mr. Gates at his home
Analysts says, that China has deliberately suppressed the value of its currency, making its exports more competitive in the global markets
Politicians wants strong actions against China unless they revalue the yaun
Beijing has raised the yuan's value against the dollar by 2% in 2005
The US is China's second largest trade partner, while the China is the US's fourth largest market
There has been a political dismay between the two countries with China stating that "The US has continually allowed it's domestic politics and its ideological prejudice against China…to supersede fairness is what prevents a speedy solution to the trade frictions

Wednesday, 19th April 2006: The Chinese president Hu Jintao visits the US airline giant Boeing in Washington state. After visiting Boeing Mr. Jintao headed for the state capital where he presumably talked about trade ties. After the capital visit Mr. Jintao attended a lunch with 600 of Seattle's business leaders and officials. Although, the Washington state gave a warm welcome to Mr. Jintao, BBC's Duncan Kennedy states that the friendly welcome is likely to be tampered at the Mr. Jintao's Washington D.C visit where Trade deficit is going to be the primary topic of discussion.

Facts:

China in mid April 2006 agreed to purchase 80 Boeing 737s
China anticipates that it would need 2000 aircrafts over the next 15 years
Mr. Jintao was presented a baseball hat by a boeing employee and in an unusual step, hugged the employee who presented it
China and the US recently signed $4b in bilateral trade deals and hope to foster greater cooperation in key industrial sectors like energy, transport and software
The white house is also keen in having talks with Mr. Jintao in getting China's help in US's continuing struggle to get Iran to comply with American demands over Uranium Enrichment
